Museum of the Americas Francophonie

This project was to transform, to redevelop and to retrofit the Museum of the Americas Francophonie. Gift from France to Quebec for the 400th Anniversary, the project was initiated (conceptual stage) by French architects, following an architectural competition, but it was completely done by professionals of Quebec. In structure, the project consisted primarily to seismic standards Heritage building, adding a new elevator shaft, rebuilt in the four floor levels, to be excavated in the rock down to the basement and extend the two cages of issues. An atrium on three levels has also been built.
