Monastère des Ursulines de Québec Restoration

This project was to transform and redevelop various sectors of the "Monastère des Ursulines de Quebec" as well as add and to retrofit all the exits of the building. In structure, the project was primarily to build a new elevator shaft by the addition of an annex building, to build and expand from (shoring, braces and openings), to relocate the school library and transform and redevelop the new premises and the construction of an infirmary. These interventions also need strengthening damaged stone walls and building roofs. All work identified were conducted in oldest buildings to be built in North America. The buildings covered by these interventions dated between 1670 and 1720.
