Evaluation of damaged concrete structures
expertise

In cases where a concrete structure shows signs of deterioration or weakness, EMS engineers can provide their client with support tailored to their needs, depending on the role and involvement they have. EMS is able to respond specifically to the needs of both the owner, the builder, the various insurers and other stakeholders.

  • Evaluate the precariousness of the structure and the risk of worsening or successive collapses;
  • Secure the area;
  • Technical analysis under different codes that may be applicable and production of reports for legal purpose;
  • Report to meet the requirements of Bill 122;
  • Identify repair or reconstruction solutions;
  • Produce drawings and specifications for rehabilitation of the structure after the disaster, up to standard or not;
  • Estimate the cost.
