Transformation of pavillon du Commerce Expocité in public market

The project consists of transforming the pavillon du Commerce Expocité (formerly known as the Palais de l'industrie), located on the ExpoCité site, into a public market. Dating from 1924, the Commercial Pavilion will be entirely curated and brought up to standards. Skylights were made in the redone roof, and new floors were built inside on the mezzanine for the layout of the sales areas. The building envelope has been consolidated and new openings have been created to ensure a close link with the Jean-Béliveau space and outdoor kiosks.
