Sylvain Adams Velodrome - Multisports Center Desjardins - Bromont

The project of the interior Sylvain Adams Velodrome includes the Olympic track from Atlanta Olympic games of 1996 which can now be used 365 days every year. It will also include a trampoline zone, a pump-track, a running track, a multisports area and some other facilities linked to sports. The project was developed by the Centre national de cyclisme de Bromont and was built because of an important finance campaign of more than 19 million of dollars.

The Velodrome was built using isolated concrete forms for the walls, a massive steel structure with joists, and more than 100 laminated glued timber beams that follow the track shape.
