Saint-Robert-Bellarmin Wind Farm

The Saint-Robert-Bellarmin wind farm is located in the municipality of the same name, in the MRC du Granit, halfway between the towns of Lac-Mégantic and Saint-Georges.

The park consists of 40 wind turbines of 2 MW and produces green energy to power the equivalent of over 18,000 Quebec homes. The turbines are located south of the village of Saint-Robert-Bellarmine. The park was commissioned in the fall of 2012 after 18 months of work.

For the Saint-Robert-Bellarmin wind farm, EMS had the responsibility to do a technical audit of the drawings and specifications and also to actively participate in the design review within workshops of value engineering to ensure project compliance with normative standards of the manufacturer while ensuring cost optimization of the project.
