We are looking for a motivated intermediate engineer to play a central role in the design, technical management, and development of municipal infrastructure projects. In addition to technical design, you will be involved in team supervision, interdisciplinary coordination, and the department's growth strategy.
Your Responsibilities
Design and Technical Management
- Design municipal infrastructure projects: water supply systems, sewers, roads, drainage, urban developments.
- Produce plans and specifications.
- Perform technical calculations.
- Ensure compliance with current standards.
- Collaborate with technicians and site supervisors to ensure the quality of deliverables.
Project Management and Leadership
- Supervise and manage technical teams assigned to projects.
- Lead engineering projects of various scales.
- Coordinate the different disciplines involved (geotechnical, environmental, structural, etc.).
- Actively participate in meetings with clients and municipalities.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.
Strategic Development
- Participate in the strategic development of the department and the evolution of internal practices.
- Contribute to business development and the identification of new project opportunities.
- Support the professional development of junior team members.
You are the right person for this position if:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- You have accumulated over 5 years of experience and are a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- You demonstrate leadership, with a dynamic, responsible, and autonomous approach to project management.
- You have mastered the Quebec municipal infrastructure market and know how to adapt to local challenges.
