EMS Ingénierie is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineering Technician to play a key role in the design, technical development, and execution of civil engineering projects. In this position, you will contribute to drafting, modeling, interdisciplinary coordination, and the provision of technical support to project teams.

Responsibilities

Design and Technical Expertise

• Prepare civil engineering plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Contribute to the development of technical plans and specifications while ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct on-site technical surveys as required.
• Review shop drawings and support technical follow-ups with suppliers and contractors.
• Perform other related duties associated with civil engineering design and drafting.

Technical Management and Coordination

• Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination.
• Support project monitoring activities, including technical progress, documentation control, revisions, and quality assurance.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of technical information across all disciplines.
• Participate in site inspections as needed, including verifications, reporting, and compliance assessments.

Continuous Improvement and Development

• Contribute to the enhancement of internal drafting standards and work methods.
• Support the optimization of tools and practices related to drafting and modeling.
• Proactively propose improvements to strengthen project efficiency and overall quality.

You are the right person for this position if:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical drafting or civil engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (required).
• Strong command of MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated autonomy, teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and rigor.
• Valid ASP Construction card and valid driver’s license.
