Temporary Retaining System - Highway 40, Kirkland

The project was to connect a new gas line along Highway 40. The new pipe should be connected to an existing pipe to a depth of 4.9 meters located 2.6 meters from the traffic lanes. Our mandate was to carry out the plans and specifications for the temporary support system (slide rail system of Efficienty Production Inc. distributed by Hewitt) required to allow the excavation of soils safely while maintaining the adjacent traffic lane open during construction (highway 40).
